Scheduling an Appointment with a Personal Absorption Counselor

This guide explains how Olim Chadashim - עולים חדשים - new immigrants and Toshavim Chozrim - תושבים חוזרים - returning residents can schedule an appointment with a personal absorption counselor at the Misrad HaKlita - משרד הקליטה - Ministry of Aliyah and Integration to access their services.
Making an Appointment
You can schedule an appointment online or through a mobile app (Android or Apple) for the following branches:
- Local Offices: Ashdod, Beer Sheva, Upper Galilee (Carmiel), Hadera, Haifa, Jerusalem, Nof HaGalil VeHaAmakim (Upper Nazareth), Petach Tikva, Rishon LeTzion, Tel Aviv.
- Branch Offices: Ashkelon, the Krayot, Naharia, the Sharon (Kfar Sava), Holon, Rehovot, The Shfela (Ramle) Branch.
If you are in a region where appointments cannot be arranged through the app, please contact the National Information Call Center at *2994 to schedule.

You will be offered appointment options for each topic. Some will offer an in-person or phone consultation or either one.
Soldiers: When scheduling, choose the service point where you prefer to receive services.
Cases Where an Appointment is Not Necessary
You do not need an appointment for the following services:
- Submitting a request for examining eligibility as a Toshav Chozer: For Israeli citizens who have spent at least two years abroad.
- Submitting a request for examining your eligibility as an Oleh Chadash: For someone who is undergoing Shinui Status/Ma’amad within Israel
- Submitting a request for examining eligibility as an Ezrach Oleh – אזרח עולה – immigrant citizen: For those born abroad to an Israeli parent with an Israeli ID number.
- Submitting a request for examining eligibility as a Katin Chozer – קטין חוזר – returning minor: For individuals who left Israel before the age of 14.
In the above cases you should follow the instructions on the following site which may significantly shorten the processing of your eligibility request.
Canceling Appointments
You can cancel an appointment using the following methods:
- By phone: Call the Information Center at *2994.
- Through the MyVisit website or app, for those already registered with the service.

- You can only schedule one future appointment at a service point at a time.
