First Steps in Israel

After making Aliyah, there are a number of steps you need to take and the order is crucial. For example, without a bank account you cannot take the next steps listed.

What You Will Need

Document of Identification

Make sure to have your Passport, Teudat Zehut and Teudat Oleh with you.

If you do not receive a temporary Teudat Zehut – תעודת זהות – identity card upon arrival at the airport, you should receive the Sefach – ספח – , an appendix, with your identity number. You will need to visit the Misrad HaPnim – משרד הפנים – Ministry of Interior, first to request your Teudat Zehut card before proceeding with the following steps.
