Verifying Israeli Citizenship and Residency Status - Within Israel and Abroad

Berur Ezrachut בירור אזרחות

If you have lived in Israel in the past, or are the child of a parent who is Israeli but aren’t sure if you hold Israeli citizenship yourself, we highly recommend that you check your official citizenship status before beginning the Aliyah process. Doing so can help you avoid unnecessary delays and expenses along the way.

The process differs whether the person is in Israel or whether they are abroad.
