State employment office for registration as a jobseeker, job search, and unemployment registration.

Maalot – Business Centers for New Immigrants and Returning Residents

The Ministry of Aliyah and Integration operates 5 Maalot business centers that provide Olim and returning residents with subsidized business consulting, training, and guidance in establishing or expanding a small business. You can apply for assistance and see full details through the official service page and read more about the program on the general business-centers page

Government Assistance - Guaranteed Loan Fund for Small and Medium Businesses

The State of Israel operates a national loan fund that provides bank loans to small and medium businesses with a state guarantee, to help establish or expand a business when regular collateral is limited. Olim and returning residents usually apply through participating banks, but the official entry point is the online portal of the Loan Fund for Small and Medium Businesses (Hebrew), with an overview in English here

    If your profession is in a health-related field, you can also reach out directly to each Kupa (health fund) and check whether they have available positions in your field within commuting distance.
  • Municipalities
    Many local municipalities advertise available positions on their websites and sometimes through local Facebook pages. Reach out to your local municipality to see if anything relevant is available.
  • Universities
    Universities often have their own job pages for academic, administrative, and student roles. You need to go through each school individually to see what is relevant and available.

The list below is an excellent general resource for job search and Aliyah-related networking; we also recommend conducting additional searches for profession or city-specific groups. Many cities in Israel have “Secret” Facebook groups, i.e. SecretTel Aviv and other Facebook groups dedicated to finding jobs for Olim etc.
